Most individuals wait for the last second to get ready for that examination, spending sleepless nights studying, appearing for the exam drained and burned out. This is unnecessary and fairly hazardous. With small planning and practice, getting ready for your exam will be easy and one does not have to sacrifice the sleep.
An early start and regular, manageable blocks of study are the best way to get prepared for your exam. An hour or two at a time a few days a week should be ample. Keep in mind not to overdo it with marathon study periods, simply because this is rarely productive; in reality, it will only make you so fatigued that you won't be in a position to absorb any information. You are much better off with a big number of shorter study periods than vice versa.
If you cannot study on your own, then try to get together a few others that are preparing for the examination as well. Form a study group involving them and study jointly by helping each other out. Examine one another to determine the level of your preparedness.
Look for a study technique that works for you personally. You may use one of several exam study guides available online, or you could organize a study group. Try different techniques of study to figure out which is best for you.
To remind yourself of facts, formulas, or ideas; psychological shortcuts and developing mnemonics is essential. Other beneficial methods is to quiz yourself with a partner. Studying with someone who has taken the examination and passed it is also beneficial.
When you cover a study area, review your information of it to check how much of the studying material you have remembered. Once you've gone through the areas you expect to appear on the examination, take practice tests in order to get familiar with the type of questions on the test as well as to get a sense of test time in order to prevent you from running out of time.
